Rogan's SoftTouch AXL Clamp Lever will provide you with an ergonomic design and ratcheting feature to function in those hard-to-reach places. Designed by the prestigious industrial design firm of Herbst, Lazar and Bell of Chicago, winner of many international design awards, the SoftTouch adjustable clamp lever is two-shot molded with a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) that provides maximum comfort for sustained use. The polypropylene core withstood grueling destructive torque testing, out-performing comparable single-shot thermoplastic molded crank levers.

The clamp lever is activated by pulling up on the handle to disengage the torque action; release the handle to re-engage it for tightening and loosening. You can make multi-position adjustments with and without load. With a fiberglass-reinforced substrate and a soft-to-the-touch outer shell, this product will provide you with the tactile grip that your customers demand. Additionally, the materials are impervious to most oils and solvents. Multi-shot injection molding provides molecular bonding of the materials into an integral, one-piece component with great precision.

Additionally, Rogan's series of two-shot universal mold bases will allow you to develop multi-component parts while investing far fewer tooling dollars than typically required. It will also shorten your time to market and enhance the profitable success of your end product. Rogan can easily modify existing tooling or develop a custom product that will truly be unique to your specific application. From industrial applications to medical applications, Rogan's SoftTouch products are easily customized, so you can specify any color combination required. They provide the metal hardware in stainless steel, brass, or zinc-plated steel in various thread sizes.
